Pattern, color, and sculptural detail anchor this design-forward workplace.
A creative office experience rooted in Miami’s artistic identity.
Project Overview

A long-standing national client of Empire & Co., this professional services firm moved into their new Florida office in Miami’s trendy and vibrant Wynwood district. Empire and Vocon collaborated to create a space that is uniquely Miami and reflective of its new neighborhood, filled with colors and patterns, as well as some funky furniture pieces. Steelcase Ology workstations were chosen for the open plan benching and many ancillary manufacturers were included in the scope such as Coalesse, Andreu World, Arper, Bernhardt, Gus, Hightower, Stylex, Nienkamper, Moooi, Humanscale among others. Empire’s custom millwork provider, Fabricate, participated in the robust millwork package, creating custom cabinetry, wall paneling, banquettes, and bleacher seating, as well as the focal art piece of the space — a mesh structure mimicking the bow of a ship and crafted from railing materials from a local Miami company.

Additional amenities include game areas with Blatt Billiards, ping pong tables, a café, multiple collaboration areas, and an outdoor area overlooking Wynwood.

Order placement for this project occurred right after the pandemic, a challenging time for the industry, however, the Empire team navigated construction delays and redirected deliveries to our Miami warehouse instead of going direct to site. We installed on the weekends and after hours to ensure the client’s desired move-in date was met.

From warehouse redirects to weekend installs, a seamless delivery under pressure.

Eclectic furnishings and custom millwork bring Wynwood energy indoors.
