Empire partnered with TPG Architecture to deliver a four-floor, 121,000 square foot office for a confidential global investment management firm in Manhattan, accommodating a large workplace with dedicated team floors.
The project encompassed a broad furniture scope, with pieces procured from over 30 ancillary manufacturers. Select partners included Holly Hunt, Poltrona Frau, Andreu World, Stylex, Jamie Stern, Gunlocke, and Nucraft, among many others. Empire specified and procured all private offices and workstations, utilizing Steelcase EE6 and Answer solutions. Steelcase’s Studio b team was engaged to address custom private office requirements, including unique dimensions and mitred-edge desks.
Cafés and collaborative touchdown areas were distributed throughout all four floors to support a range of work styles. Conference rooms and stations required additional coordination to support the client’s technology-forward approach, incorporating custom conference tables and Humanscale monitor arms with integrated charging solutions and concealed wiring.
