A revitalized workspace built for collaboration, culture, and creative freedom.
Historic architecture meets modern creative energy across ten floors of innovation.
Project Overview

In collaboration with design firm BDG, Empire procured, delivered, and installed over ten floors of furniture for the multi-national advertising agency WPP.

Located in downtown Detroit, the historical structure of the building set a unique backdrop for various ancillary and private office solutions. Specified product was sourced from manufacturers such as Arper, Blu Dot, Gubi, Muuto, Viccarbe, and West Elm, to name a few. Our creative team worked closely with the client to provide options that met their aesthetic, style, budget, and delivery deadlines.

Other distinguishing features within the 150,000-square-foot space include a full café, gaming corner, open collaboration areas, private meeting nooks, exposed brick walls, original arched windows, vibrant murals, and custom credenzas created in-house. All parties were ecstatic with the result—a refreshed, mixed-use space providing ample room for creative liberty and innovative ideas.
