Designed for gathering, hosting, and effortless coastal living.
A Kiawah-inspired townhouse blending softness, style, and livability.
Project Overview

Drawing inspiration from the relaxed refinement of Kiawah Island, this townhouse was designed to bring a softer, elevated coastal feel to everyday living. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this 2,080-square-foot residence was completed through full design and installation services between June and September 2025, under a fast-paced build schedule that required flexibility and decisive problem-solving. The layout prioritizes comfortable gathering spaces and well-appointed secondary bedrooms, creating a home that feels equally suited for daily routines and extended stays from visiting family and friends.

The interior features a soft coastal palette of blues, warm neutrals, and coral accents. Layered textures, tonal variation, and selective wallpaper moments add depth while keeping the home feeling light and approachable. The family room serves as a central anchor, establishing the home’s tone through comfortable seating, warm wood tones, and collected styling that feels polished yet relaxed.

Shiplap detailing in the entry introduces subtle texture upon arrival, while a trim feature wall in Bedroom #2 adds architectural structure and elevates the guest experience. Selections throughout the home incorporate furnishings, rugs, and art from manufacturers including Crestview Collection, Magnussen Home Furnishings, TOV Furniture, Four Hands, Craftmaster, Jonathan Louis, Universal Furniture, Riverside, Stylecraft, Leftbank Art, and Bassett Mirror.

Working within an accelerated timeline, thoughtful substitutions maintained consistency in color, scale, and materiality while supporting the builder’s intended coastal vision.
