Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Manhattan based non-profit cancer center, partnered with Empire to design and furnish their new two-floor cancer center hospital in Bergen, NJ. MSK’s goal was to transform their existing corporate headquarters into a relaxing and comforting care center closer to their patients living in the area.
Empire helped select various ancillary manufacturers to equip several waiting areas with a “resimerical” feel to help patients and visiting family feel at home during their stay. The new hospital now also includes private infusion rooms to allow patients privacy and relaxation while receiving treatment.
